UNBOXING SHADOWS was founded by DJ and artist Exildiscount in Berlin in 2021. Opening the black box of normativity, UNBOXING SHADOWS serves as a safe space in which music can be literally queer – challenging the norm in genre as much as in lived experience. UNBOXING SHADOWS brings all that is obscure and subversive into the light of the dance floor.
